Home: Welcome

I dedicate my practice to your well-being.

I offer a caring & compassionate, non-judgmental space,

where together, we co-create enhanced well-being in mind, body & spirit

through Mindfulness and Self-Compassion practices.

What is Well-Being?

Well-being is a term often used to identify overall life satisfaction;

a person’s emotional and psychological state of overall health and happiness,

encompassing resilience and effective coping with life’s challenges.

There are multiple ways to achieve well-being.

Mindfulness can be an effective approach.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness has been described as

paying attention to the present moment, non-judgmentally.

There are specific mindfulness practices that can help train our minds to be with the present moment.

The result is a more relaxed, less reactive or volatile experience of daily life

which can contribute to our physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being.

About Grief

Grief is a natural involuntary reaction to the loss of a loved one or circumstance we were not ready to lose.

Grief is also a reflection of the love we have for the loved one who is longer with us.

Our grief needs to be witnessed, but we are not broken and therefore, do not need to be fixed.

There is no one 'right' way to grieve.  Everyone's journey is unique.

We can learn to accept where we are on our path,

offer ourselves patience, grace, and compassion.

What is Holistic Coaching?

Coaching is a partnership between coach and client

where the coach supports the client’s efforts toward a specific goal or goals.

Holistic Coaching philosophy views the client/person as an integrated whole,

understanding that all aspects of a person’s life are inextricably intertwined;

 Mind/Body/Spirit/Environment.

As a holistic mindfulness coach, my role is to listen fully, to offer presence and empathy,

to ask questions helping clients move toward "aha moments", insights, and self-awareness.

As a mindfulness coach, I will likely recommend and teach specific practices.

I offer support as you take action on your own behalf.

You're worth it.

My experience has shown me

the more actions we take on our own behalf, no matter how small,

the more we believe, or know we are worth it.

What Holistic Coaching is Not?

Holistic Coaching is not therapy or counseling.  Coaches are not clinicians.

They do not diagnose or prescribe.  They are not mental health professionals and as a result do not analyze or treat.

If it becomes clear that therapy would be beneficial, as a coach, I would make that recommendation to a client.

Therapy/counseling and coaching can be complimentary.
